Is Recycling Waste Expanded Polystyrene Foam

Polystyrene foam recycling, commonly used mechanical recycling method to hot melt waste polystyrene foam firstly and heated to reduce the size and brittle, and then broke them into smaller pieces in the crusher, then extrusion and granulation.

For polystyrene foam sheets, they are designed directly into the GREENMAX recycling machine, the feed opening of EPS compactor is usually large, so that the large styrofoam can be directly thrown into. The polystyrene equipped with rotating cutting knife, can compress and shred polystyrene foam plate at certain density.

GREENMAX recycling process is as follows: first to put waste polystyrene foam into the inner of crushing machine, broken into pieces 60mmX60mm by pipeline to further remove impurities within the separator.

Waste polystyrene foam block is heated gradually melted in an extruder. And then granulated and cooled to obtain good quality of recycled polystyrene pellets.

The advantages of this process are:
As a result of an extruder, granulating machine and other equipment and form production line, it can work continuously recycled;
