GREENMAX multi-functional Rigid plastic recycling system may become a recycling model in Yamagata Prefecture Japan

One of the partners of INTCO Recycling GREENMAX is located in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, and is a manufacturer specializing in fuel making machines. The company produces fuel-making machines that process scrap waste other than renewable materials. The fuel produced has very little ash content, and the company purchases it back , forming a closed loop, which is the same as the closed loop concept of recycling and reuse of INTCO Recycling GREENMAX. In addition to producing fuel engines, the company recycles PVC crushed materials from all over Japan and sells them. A friend of the company’s president runs a waste recycling and processing company. Before 2018, the company’s waste materials were basically simply processed baling materials, which were sold to Southeast Asia and other countries for recycling. However, due to the strict implementation of the Basel Convention in Japan, the Japanese Ministry of Environment began to ban the export of waste materials. Only after being processed can clean crushed products or particles of a single material be exported normally.

It is precisely because the rules continue to change that we must also make changes in accordance with the policy. The company entrusted President Icous to help find a solution. President Icous learned that a friend had encountered this problem and consulted GREENMAX, which specializes in waste plastic recycling machinery. GREENMAX is a machinery brand under INTCO Recycling. After understanding the situation, the person in charge of GREENMAX Japanese market paid an on-site visit to the president during a business trip to Japan in May 2022. It was learned that the PP and ABS car bumpers recycled by the scrap recycling company were dirty and therefore difficult to process. GREENMAX engineering team helped the company build a Rigid plastic recycling system that integrates cleaning, crushing, and granulation based on the dirtiness and material types of the other party's recyclables.

After several months of discussions, the president decided to purchase the Rigid plastic recycling system recommended by GREENMAX to help with hard plastic recycling. Currently, the equipment has been put in place and is waiting for installation. The president said that Japan’s ban on scrap export has left many recycling companies at a loss. He hopes that this recycling plan can be used as a typical recycling case in Yamagata Prefecture. He also hopes that INTCO Recycling GREENMAX can help more recycling companies find scrap processing and plastic recycling solutions that suit them.
