Foam Recycling Industry: GREENMAX Helps SPECIAL DESIGN PRODUCT Achieve Efficient PE Foam Recycling
SPECIAL DESIGN PRODUCT is a company focused on product design and manufacturing. In its production and packaging processes, a large amount of PE foam is used as a protective material. Known for its lightweight and shock-absorbing properties, PE foam is widely applied in packaging for electronic products and industrial equipment.
However, due to its bulky volume and low density, the waste generated during production takes up significant storage space and increases transportation and disposal costs. As production scales up, the company began seeking a more efficient foam recycling solution.
Before installing a PE foam densifier, the customer primarily relied on landfill disposal to handle this type of white waste, which led to several challenges:
·PE foam waste is bulky, occupying large storage space and affecting production efficiency
·High transportation frequency, resulting in increased disposal costs
·Landfill treatment is not environmentally friendly
Therefore, the customer aimed to find a solution that could quickly reduce foam volume and improve waste handling efficiency.
After discovering GREENMAX through online research, the customer recognized GREENMAX’s extensive experience in PE foam recycling. Following in-depth discussions with Kevin, General Manager of SPECIAL DESIGN PRODUCT, the GREENMAX team recommended the PE foam densifier M-C200E solution based on the customer’s material type and waste volume.
GREENMAX PE foam densifier M-C200E uses hot-melt technology to heat and compress loose PE foam into high-density blocks, significantly reducing material volume. With a processing capacity of up to 440 lbs/h (approximately 200 kg/h), it fully meets the customer’s daily foam waste recycling needs.
In addition to its excellent compaction performance, the GREENMAX PE foam densifier offers stable operation, simple handling, and low maintenance costs. More importantly, the compressed material is easier to transport and reuse. After installation, the equipment was quickly integrated into the customer’s production line, enabling on-site, real-time foam waste processing.
Before launching the recycling project, the customer conducted thorough research and evaluated multiple recycling equipment options on the market. Ultimately, they chose GREENMAX not only for its reliable PE foam densifier, but also for its ability to provide a complete recycling solution. In addition, GREENMAX offers professional and comprehensive after-sales service, supported by experienced engineers who provide technical assistance.
Kevin, General Manager of SPECIAL DESIGN PRODUCT, commented: "Before installing the M-C200E PE foam densifier, our PE foam waste occupied a large amount of space and required frequent transportation. After putting the machine into operation, the foam volume was reduced by approximately 90–95%, significantly easing storage pressure. Meanwhile, transportation frequency decreased by 6–8 trips per month, and disposal costs were reduced by over 30%. The machine runs stably, is easy to operate, and the processed material can be recycled and reused. We are very satisfied with this recycling project, as it achieved our expected PE foam recycling results."
