GREENMAX EPE densifier helps IGM Solutions save EPE recycling costs
IGM Solutions, Inc/Fabtech is a monitor manufacturer and a high-tech company. It has two locations, in NV and IL. Because it needs to import monitor components from Korea, these precise components require special shockproof packaging for protection. EPE foam used in the packaging usually has a high density, making it difficult to handle afterwards.
The site in IL generates about a trailer's worth of EPE foam waste every month. Initially, it was paid to a nearby recycling company for disposal, but recently, for certain reasons, the recycling company no longer provides this service. Loose EPE foam takes up a large volume and occupies a lot of space; if not dealt with in time, it can lead to warehouse overcrowding and also pose safety hazards. Therefore, they want to find a solution for recycling EPE foam. Learning that GREENMAX has relatively rich experience in EPE recycling, the project manager contacted GREENMAX through the website, hoping we could provide an EPE densifier to address the urgent need.
During the docking process, we learned that the customer has a large amount of EPE foam at their locations in NV that also needs to be recycled. Currently, a large amount of waste is being landfilled, which not only incurs high landfill fees but also is not an environmentally friendly recycling method. The company headquarters has instructed the person in charge to find a perfect EPE recycling solution to achieve waste recycling.
After effective communication between both parties, it was understood that the GREENMAX EPE densifier can achieve efficient recycling. IL placed an order for an EPE densifier M-C100 in June 2021. After receiving the machine, the customer found it performed well, and in November of the same year, they purchased the same equipment again to place it at the NV location to assist with recycling.
Not only because the GREENMAX EPE densifier performs well, but GREENMAX also provides excellent after-sales service. In particular, thanks to GREENMAX recycling model, we help customers sell compressed waste, so they no longer have any worries. When the machine malfunctions, we respond very quickly to help customers solve problems and ship parts, maintaining constant contact and consistently good communication throughout.
In January 2025, the customer opened a new factory in NV and subsequently placed an order for a new EPE densifier M-C100. The machine arrived at the customer’s factory in August and is ready for use. The person in charge stated that the cooperation with GREENMAX has helped them avoid the trouble of foam waste and has greatly facilitated their production.
