Intco offers two ways of recycling EPE foam: compression or granulation with foam granulator and foam densifier

The Earth Cares team at Oswego Presbyterian Church will be offering polystyrene foam recycling services to the community on Saturday, July 22 from 9 a.m. to noon at the church parking lot at 1976 IL 25 in Oswego. This event recycles all polystyrene foam marked with the number 6, but refuses to recycle other types of foam. This is not surprising, many recycling activities will refuse to recycle foam other than polystyrene, not only because this foam recycling method is not as widespread as polystyrene, but also the probability of reuse is not as high as polystyrene, but now GREENMAX These two problems have been successfully solved.

At present, GREENMAX provides three main methods of recycling EPE foam, two of which are more traditional recycling methods, the main recycling effect is reflected in compression, using foam densifier or foam compactor for compression, especially when foam densifier is processing EPE foam It has excellent effect, because the foam can be melted well by using hot melt technology, and the compression ratio is also higher, which can reach 90:1. The foam densifier is easy to operate and hardly requires any experience in operating heavy machines.

Another recycling method is to directly manufacture loose EPE foam into plastic particles. The foam granulator provided by GREENMAX can realize this conversion process. The whole process is also simple and easy to operate: Put the EPE foam directly into the crushing device, and the EPE gel substance that has been crushed and heated and melted is extruded into filaments. These EPE strips are cooled by the water tank, and then become hard plastic strips, which are cut and baked. After drying the device, dry EPE particles are obtained. Both of these methods are ways to recycle EPE.

In addition, Intco Recycling’s new business this year includes the purchase of EPE waste. We use EPE waste to produce outdoor building materials, and add recycled materials in a certain proportion to manufacture environmentally friendly products. It is precisely because of the continuous progress of Intco Recycling that more and more EPE foam can be recycled, and it is no longer considered as non-recyclable soft foam.
